1large onionor in tonights case, two small onions, halved and peeled

1(28-ounce) can whole peeled tomatoes

freshly chopped parley
grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions
Add onion, butter, and tomatoes - with their juices - into a large pan, bring to a boil, then allow to simmer for 75 minutes. Adjust seasonings as needed.
Meanwhile, cook one pound of pasta of choice, add to your sauce. Top with fresh parsley, grated parmesan, and crushed red pepper flakes, if desired.
